Located in the heart of the Alentejo vineyards, this farm overlooks Terena’s historic castle and offers simply furnished rooms decorated in a traditional Alentejo style. Regional cuisine is served in the restaurant. Offering views over the Alentejano plains, all rooms at Herdade Dos Barros come with air conditioning and a TV. Each room has a private bathroom with amenities. Continental breakfast is served in Dos Barros' dining room with its beamed ceilings and pottery. Guests can return here for dinner and taste black bean stews, pork and local wine. The garden terrace overlooks the surrounding estate and Lucefecit Dam, only 328 feet away and ideal for picnics or swimming. For chilly days there is a living room with a cozy fireplace and a café.
