The hotel is situated at the countryside, 20 minutes drive from Keflavik Airport and 45 minutes drive from Reykjavik. The hotel is 1 km from the Blue Lagoon next to the power station from which its water comes.The rooms are medium size and in very good condition. They are furnished to a high standard with an emphasis on comfort and practicality with some luxury furnishings. The bathrooms are also in very good condition.The restaurant serves mainly Icelandic/local dishes, the dining room contiuing the theme of homely comfort.This is a nondescript, purpose-built hotel.The lobby is a good size and plain, but the welcome will undoubtedly be warm!This hotel is located in a really first class spot, whether one is simply stopping briefly in Iceland and want to take a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon whilst there, or planning to really explore south west Iceland from a base in its spectacular countryside.
